Join us in welcoming Daniel Singer, Filthy Food CEO and owner, to Portland as our keynote speaker for Park Academy’s Annual Dinner and Auction.  Daniel will share his inspirational story and help us celebrate the 20 years of impact Park Academy has on children with dyslexia.  “I wasn't identified as a Dyslexic until I was in my mid-twenties and my journey with dyslexia has been a complex one.  I have evolved from seeing my unsupported learning difference as a disadvantage to what I now fully believe it to be, my SUPERPOWER.” 

Daniel Singer is London born, a Dyslexic thinker, and former Royal Shakespeare Company actor turned cocktail industry disruptor.  Daniel embarked on a two year olive pilgrimage, exploring hundreds of varieties of cultivatable olives and cherries before creating Filthy Food, a premium line of cocktail mixers and garnishes widely recognized as the industry standard and used by the best bars, restaurants, hotels, cruise ships, and airlines in the world.  Daniel champions dyslexic thinking globally, sitting on the board of Made By Dyslexia and is an honorary board member of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, US, a charity that champions young Americans ages 14-24.  Daniel is kindly donating his speaking fee back to Park Academy to support our important work.

An Evening with Daniel Singer will support the educational environment at Park Academy. As the only school specifically for students with dyslexia in Oregon, Park Academy offers hope to students who struggle, allowing them to thrive.  Funds raised through this event will ensure that no child is ever turned away because of their family’s financial circumstances.
